UFO Timeline

On 11 November 1987, the first of the alleged encounters at Gulf Breeze, Florida purportedly occurred, involving Edward Walters.

This incident is Case 23 in Isaac Koi's "Top 100" article,  since it was referred to in 76 of the books covered by that article.

This incident has featured in a list of twenty UFO cases produced by Bruce Maccabee in 1999 in response to a challenge to produce “the best evidence for an extraterrestrial origin for the UFO phenomenon”. 

 

 

On 1 December 1987, there was an alleged encounter on Ilkley Moor in Yorkshire, England of retired policeman “Philip Spencer” (a pseudonym), involving a purported photograph of a humanoid entity.

 

 

 

During 1988, the “Krill Report” (also referred to as the “O H Krill document” and the “Krlll Report”) is written and circulated by “Val Valerian” (pseudonym for John Grace) and John Lear.

During 1988, Kip Thorne and Michael Morris published a paper on wormholes entitled “Wormholes in Spacetime and Their Use for Interstellar Travel: A Tool for Teaching General Relativity”.
