Koi UFO Video 124

Koi UFO Video 124 : UFO Fleet in Area 51 (Section 51)

[DEBUNKED] Koi UFO Video 124 appears to show several UFOs hovering above hangars in Area 51. A caption at the beginning of the video states "April 2016 - USA, Area 51 - Exclusive pictures showing three UFOs hovering over military hangars...". A logo on the UFO video refers to "Section 51".

This video was posted online on 11 April 2016 by "Section 51" with the title "UFO FLEET filmed in AREA 51 !!! April 2016". Text accompanying the video stated "April 2016 - USA, Area 51. New footage showing three huge UFOs hovering over hangars in area 51."

This video obtained over 400,000 views within its first two months online.

As detailed below, the "UFOs" have been added to a video of Area 51 uploaded to Youtube by "DAHB00777" in July 2015. That original video was taken from the top of Tikaboo Peak, 26 miles from Area 51, and did not show any UFOs. The angles (and, indeed, the cloud formations near the end of the original video) match those in the "UFO" video. Thus, the source footage was on Youtube nearly a year before the "UFO" video was purportedly filmed and uploaded.

As I've been trying to point out to the UFO community since about the middle of 2015, "Section 51" is a small team that has previously described THEMSELVES as "Internet-video creators specialized in dreaming up sci-fi, action YouTube videos, jam-packed with stunning VFX". They offered various incentives for those prepared to provide funding for their projects. For example, in return for a small fee, they offer to take the video of your choice and "we insert an original UFO on it".  Few of the discussions of Section 51's videos mention these facts, which I consider rather important to any meaningful assessment of the reliability of the many "UFO" videos posted by "Section 51" - several of which I have previously discussed...

3. The real background to this video

In fact, the "UFOs" have been added to a video of Area 51 uploaded to Youtube by "DAHB00777" in July 2015. The original video was taken from the top of Tikaboo Peak, 26 miles from Area 51, and did not show any UFOs. Thus, the source footage was on Youtube nearly a year before the "UFO" video was purportedly filmed and uploaded.

The relevant source footage can be seen on Youtube at the link below (with thanks to Italian UFO researcher Scott Brando, who runs ufoofinterest.org and also regularly posts information on his Twitter page about UFO hoaxes, for finding this footage):

Here are some screenshots from that original footage:

The angles (and, indeed, the cloud formations near the end of the original video) match those in the "UFO" video.

The source footage was uploaded to Youtube in July 2015, i.e. nearly a year before the "UFO" video was uploaded (indeed, nearly a year before the "UFO" video was supposedly filmed in April 2016).

Thus, the source footage was online nearly a year before the "UFO" video was uploaded.

The logo in the UFO video refers to "Section 51", a name which commonly appears on lists of known/probable hoaxers of UFO videos - such as a black list on the amusing "UFO Theater" website:

As I've repeatedly tried to communicate to the UFO community, behind the Youtube username that uploaded this "UFO" video (i.e. Section 51) is a in fact a small team that has described THEMSELVES as "Internet-video creators specialized in dreaming up sci-fi, action YouTube videos, jam-packed with stunning VFX". They offer various incentives for those prepared to provide funding for their science-fiction projects (which include planned movies). The incentives include offering, for a small fee, to take the video of your choice and "we insert an original UFO on it".

So now you know what present to get for the ufologist that has everything!

The various other "UFO" videos created by "Section 51" include Koi UFO Video 085. That appears to show a triangular craft causing a large explosion, with a tank in the foreground.  It was uploaded to Youtube in May 2014 with a caption stating that it US marines had filmed a mysterious UFO attacking a Taliban cam in the Asadabad District of Afghanistan in March 2014.  Many of the early comments on the video speculated that it should a TR-3B (a secret flying triangle aircraft operated by the US Air Force). One copy of the video on Youtube has approximately 2.5 million views as at October 2014. The video was the subject of an article by a popular British newspaper, The Daily Maill. In fact, the "triangular craft" was CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) inserted into footage of an explosion which had been online since 2007, i.e. for about 7 years before the "UFO" event supposedly occurred.

Other "UFO" videos created by "Section 51" (in relation to which I have previously posted the original footage into which a "UFO" was composited by Section 51...) include Koi UFO Video 104, which supposedly shows a UFO attacking China - but in fact is edited footage of a tanker explosion:
