Koi UFO Video 058 : Case Tape 347
[DEBUNKED] Koi UFO Video 058 is a video entitled “Case Tape 347". The captions on-screen indicate it was filmed on 14 February 2005 (i.e. on Valentine's Day 2005) and it appears to show a couple seeing a UFO crash while hiking. At the end of the video, a being appears to emerge from the crashed UFO/fireball.
Several copies of this video appear on Youtube (one of which has over 7 MILLION views as at September 2014) as well as on various other websites.
As detailed below, the relevant video is in fact a production by film-makers Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle, both of whom are (or at least were) associated with Newborn Pictures. They reportedly have shown the film in several sci-fi and fantasy movie festivals since 2005.

This video begins with a caption stating that "The following video footage was recovered by the Tacoma County Park Service on February 26, 2005". The footage then shows an image of a Tacoma County case filewith a handwritten annotation stating "Case Tape #347". The footage shown following the image of that file has a caption on-screen indicating that the footage was filmed on 14 February 2005 (i.e. on Valentine's Day 2005).
The footage appears to show a couple seeing a crash UFO while hiking.
At the end of the video, a being appears to emerge from the crashed UFO/fireball and attack the hikers.
The man in the video introduces himself in the middle of the footage as "Scott Pendleton" and introduces the woman as his fiancee "Jennifer Fox".

This video is in fact a short science fiction piece in the tradition of such "found-footage" movies as The Blair Witch Project.
The video is listed on the IMDB movie database with credits for the actor, actress, producers and writer.
The man in the video that introduced himself as "Scott Pendleton" was in fact actor Kyle Rankin.
The woman in the video that was introduced "Jennifer Fox" was in fact actress Karen Zumsteg.
The producers of the video were Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle.
