Koi UFO Video 036

Koi UFO Video 036 : Chupacabra (Alien) in Mexico

[DEBUNKED] Koi UFO Video 036 appears to show some people approaching some an outbuilding and then running away when some sort of alien being appears.

This video is almost invariably posted with a title that refers to a Chupacabra in Mexico. One copy of this video on Youtube had approximately 450,000 as at March 2015.

In fact, as detailed below, the video was created as part of a "mockumentary" film making project called "Unexplained Mysteries" in Colombia run by a group known as "Grupo Enmente".  Grupo Enmente openly stated on its webpage in 2006 that this "mockumentary" project was one that "mimics all aspects documentaries and news programs but is based on fictitious events".   The plan, as explained by Grupo Enmente on its website, appears to have been to use a website to seek raw footage from amateur film-makers and then include "special effects" to create "believable" video of with themes relating to UFOs, ghosts and the supernatural.

This is one of several "UFO"/"alien" videos in relation to which the true story was easier to find at the time of the videos original release. Several years on, relevant websites that clearly stated the "mockumentary" nature of the relevant film project are defunct and not all relevant webpages are archived. Hopefully, pages like this one will help make some of this information more easily accessible and partially overcome the problem of relevant websites fading away.

3. The real background to this video

In fact, as detailed below, Koi UFO Video 036 was created as part of a "mockumentary" film making project called "Unexplained Mysteries" in Colombia run by a group known as "Grupo Enmente".

The video was originally posted on the "misteriosinexplicables.com" website in 2006.  That website is now defunct, making finding relevant information a bit of a pain in the bottom. Only parts of that website can be retrieved via the Wayback Machine's Internet Archive, with only a few incomplete pages appearing in the Internet Archive - such as the one shown below:

Fortunately, the incomplete pages of the "misteriosinexplicables.com" website available via the Wayback Machine's Internet Archive contain a very significant link (highlighted in the screen shot below) to the "Grupoenmente" website.

Again, only a few incomplete pages of the "Grupoenmente" website as at 2006 are available via the Wayback Machine's Internet Archive. The front page of that website is shown below:

Many of the links on the Wayback Machine's Internet Archive's archived version of the frontpage of the "Grupoenmente" website as at 2006 do not work.  Most of the pages from that website do not appear to have been archived.  Having gone through most of the links, however, I was able to find one page that still gives details of the true story behind Gropo Enmente's film project.

A cache of one page on the Grupoenmente.com website as at 2006 contains an explanation of the relevant film project. That explanation openly stated that the project was to create a "mockumentary", described as one that "mimics all aspects documentaries and news programs but is based on fictitious events".   The plan, as explained by Grupo Enmente on that webpage (shown below, as translated by the Google Translate software), appears to have been to use a website to seek raw footage from amateur film-makers and then include "special effects" to create "believable" video of with themes relating to UFOs, ghosts and the supernatural.

Latent - Last film of the trilogy Unexplained Mysteries that touches on the supernatural and the powers latent in the human being. Production susceptible to a major international co-production would be the first to show a palette Aplia realities of life, customs and experiences in Latin America and Europe.
