Ukraine LINCOS transmissions
On 24 May 1999, there was the first of a series of deliberate interstellar broadcasts from the Evpatoria Deep Space Center antenna, Ukraine by the Encounter 2001 organisation. The message for the “cosmic call”, encoded in LINCOS (“Lingua Cosmica”), was created by Yvan Dutil and Stephane Dumas.
