Manchester airport near miss
On 6 January 1995, the crew of British Airways Boeing 737 flight BA 5061 (Captain Roger Wills and First Officer Mark Stewart) report a wedge-shaped glow allegedly passing close by the aircraft whilst flying over Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire, England whilst approaching Manchester airport.
