The American Association for the Advancement of Science (“AAAS”) held a 2 day UFO Symposium in Boston, Massachusetts on 26th and 27th December 1969. Various participants (including Dr J Allen Hynek, James E McDonald and Lester Grinspoon) contributed their papers to a book edited by Carl Sagan and Thornton Page (“UFO’s : A Scientific Debate” (1972)).
