A letter by Dr J Allen Hynek was published in the October 1966 issue of Science magazine, stating his reasons for concluding that he “cannot dismiss the UFO phenomenon with a shrug”.

Allegedly, there was an alleged UFO sighting on Gemini 13 by astronauts Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and James Lovell on 11 November 1966.

As with several other alleged astronaut sightings, a wide variety of contradictory dates are given for the alleged sighting in the various relevant sources.
